People should stop saying that evolution is a fact as it is not... it is a widely accepted theory.of course, it should be taught, as it expands scientific learning of the world around you. the same way that learning the Pythagorean THEORM does... creationism on the other hand has no scientific evidence and no way of being proved scientifically, so it is, by defenition, not science. it is religion... if you want to study creationism, take a theology course... :)

Evolution is a biological fact. Evolution of species can be proven by showing documented differences and adaptable characteristics over time. Creationism is the theory you are pointing to. It is not a provable fact that everything in existence now was created just like it is.

The question should be why do you consider creationism fact as there is no direct evidence to say it is. At least scientists can see creatures evolving and adapting to new enviroments, whereas creationism cannot be studied in any way to prove anything

evolution is a 'scientific theory' and i'm sure it said so in your book, even defined what that is too. creationism hasn't even gotten that far scientifically, being as how it's not based on evidence but on a story in a book.

Evolution is accepted as fact because it is accepted by the majority of scientists and researchers-- and by authors of the textbooks.

Creationism is not taught because most secular individuals believe it to be purely a religious conjecture instead of scientific.

It is a fact, it happens and is accepted by all prominent scientists.

In a religion course they will teach creationism

I don't know.

Evolution should be taught as a theory, if taught at all. I think it shouldn't be taught. It can easily be seen as an insult to religious kids. However, Creationism shouldn't be taught either. It can be seen as an insult to non-religious kids.

I don't think either should be taught.
