I would say I love You, Heavenly Father. For you were there when I needed you when my Earthly father wasn't.
I may be so emotional that I couldn't say anything and would just want to give Him a hug or fall at His feet.
I would thank Him for blessing me with a husband that was nothing like my dad and thank Him for healing me and blessing me and keeping me safe from harm, even when I didn't know I was in danger.
I would thank Him for me being born in a country where I wouldn't be jailed or killed for sharing my faith.
I would thank Him for revealing Himself to my husband in 1994 who was an atheist before that and I could only help him by putting him in God's hands not by pressuring him.
I would thank Him for blessing me with many gifts and I hope that I can be obedient in using them for His glory.
Most of all, I would thank Him for sending His Son to die a horrible death to pay the cost of our sins. He rose again to show that we could be victorious over sin and the grave as long as we believe in Him with all of our heart, soul and mind.

I would start off asking him for wisdom and knowledge.
And then I would begin telling him how beautiful he created the world, and how sad it is that we destroyed it with material things, paving roads over beautiful land.
Then I would tell him that I am grateful for everything in my life, and that even though I don't always get my way, I don't have it as hard as some do.
Then I would ask why he would even consider sending his son to die for a terrible sinner like me.
And then I would ask him to give me the ability to love others, as greatly as he has loved me.
And I would ask him to heal me, and forgive me of everything bad I have ever done.
And then I would offer him my everything, and tell him that I am ready to go wherever he needs me to go.

Today I would ask him why certain people over come things like cancer and feel like they have hope in life then only to be killed years later in a car crash.

I would be so humbled I wouldn't say much if anything. I think I would look at his feet and answer when asked something.

Say 'thank You' for showing His face to me!
