Take him on a cruise of the creek. I think there is an evening cruise between Deira Dubai and Bur Dubai. Very romantic. You can also have a candlelit dinner on the beach. The beach near the Burj Al Arab and the Holiday Inn is public and comfortable. Hope this helps.
