Yes, I agree. There is such a thing as exercise. I once lost 40 lbs. in two months by eating 3 slices of toast w/ jam or jelly(no butter or margarine), juice and / or milk for breakfast. I ate anything I wanted for lunch. Typically ham and cheese type sandwiches & some chips and a Pepsi for lunch. But I did have fast food for lunch once or twice a week. For supper, I had a light meal. I didn't eat after 6pm, unless it was plain popcorn or crackers to stave off the hungrys at night. But the key was I EXERCISED by powerwalking and walking to work and back, played tennis, etc. I actually only wanted to lose 25 lbs. max at the time. McDonald's doesn't make anyone fat. Lazy people with bad eating habits make themselves fat.

I definately agree. All McDonalds is doing is being a business. They are in it to make money. They are trying to give the people what they want, to fit the consumers' wants . It is an individual's responsibility to make good choices about what they eat, what they do. It is not McDonald's fault at all. They even offer healthier options. You do not have to eat at McDonalds. You can eat anywhere you want.
People really need to stop blaming everyone else. In 99% of the cases, it is an individuals own decision that lead them to be fat, or to slip and fall, or to whatever. It would be nice if more people realized this!

Jokes aside, it really is 100% beef. Otherwise, it's false advertising and false labeling, which would result in massive fines and lawsuits. From the McDonald's website: "Beef Patty: 100% pure USDA inspected beef; no additives, no fillers, no extenders."

I agree with you totally, how can you blame any fast food place for you getting fat, nobody forces you to go to the restaurant and eat there. I dont care about people who say that they put something in the food that make you come back, that is a bunch of crap. give me a break, how can the gov't tell a restaurant what to sell and what not to sell ? that completely ridiculous. people have free will, this is still america isnt it ? take control of yourself and stop blaming people for the choices that you make.

Yes!!! It is very true!!!
I was in the US Army for 3 years and then I went to a local community college in OC California.. I had a good body and was alway fit.. Then I Transfered to UC SAnta Barbara where I lived by myself and for the first time ever I had to provide my own food.. Well within 9 months I fattened up BIG TIME and that is because less excercise and only eating out, ITS TRUE BABY!

I agree 100%.
There was a project done that used McD's diet sodas, salads, etc instead of the double-cheese burgers and fries and the person doing the study actually did lose weight on a strict McD diet. Can't remember the study, but it's online for sure.
So yah I do agree. They're just a business and people can choose to patronize it or not. Gov't doesn't need to step in on people's businesses.
I live in Cali and I don't agree with banning smoking in resturants - people have the choice to go or not.
I don't smoke, drink and I don't eat fast food, and all are readily available for me if I so choose. I just don't want to do that to myself, and I don't want to support that type of business. I prefer that those things are available to I can express my right to boycott them. :)

The government and even the public always try to destroy things that many people enjoy because of a few individuals out there take everything to the extreme for attention or because they are plain stupid. The can't just enjoy things in moderation, there will always be the people who can't help but take advantage

I hear you! I, too, gained a lot of weight eating at fast food places. But I know the fault is entirely mine. I had a choice.
It's terrible how people have stopped accepting blame and blame their problems on everyone else.

It's not their fault that they eat so much... They were inbred to believe that they're going to starve at any minute and have to get every last crumb into their gullet as quickly as possible, lest someone else may eat it and deny them the calories that they need to survive.

Whole-heartedly. The movie "Super Size Me" was not a very fair and unbiased approach to studying the subject.
