I assume you have an internally fitting Rdr..

I expect it has 4 wires, each one ending in a little square plug.

These need to be pushed onto a spare set of 'internal USB' pins on your motherboard ...

SO - you need the sheet of paper that came with the Rdr. (it will define what each wire is .. ) and the Manual for your Motherboard.
