Anyone know any websites for astronomy help problems. For example, help on problems like these. The diameter of the Earth is 7928 mi. What is the diameter in inches? Yards?

That is not an astronomy problem but a maths problem. You know the diameter is 7928 miles, you have said so,

How many inches are there in a yard? Call it X
How many yards in a mile? Call it Y

The diameter of the Earth will therefore be 7928Y yards and 7928Y*X inches.

Substitute the correct numbers for X and Y and you will have your answers. No astronomy necessary.

Look up conversions. Go to ask.com. Type how many inches in a mile (or yards in a mile). Then multiply that number by 7928.

The two problems specified are arithmetic problems, not astronomy problems.

But...there are 63,360 inches in a mile, and 1760 yards in a mile, so if those are all you have you are covered.
