I have recently been reading abou the Gia hypothesis and i was wondering what you guys think about it. Which part fascinates you the most? What parts do you agree with and what parts of the hypothesis dont you agree with? I think that it might be a good discussion to have

I think it is interesting, but the idea of it is too huge for anyone to really study or consider. But one thing that demonstrates this idea is the fact that pollution from a country in the west may travel across to a country in the east and kill off some animal there which in turn affects something else. This hypothesis may tie in well to mathematical ideas about chaos and dynamics (the Butterfly effect).

The whole planet is alive, it breathes, it circulates, it filters, it cycles and has circadian rythms, it sleeps it wakes it eats and vents.

How could it not be alive and move so much water?

The whole universe is alive.
