He was a four term congressman from Iowa. then he narrowly lost the gubernatorial race by only 4%. He served as president and CEO of Goodwill, was on National Public Radio (NPR), served as a visiting professor at the University of Maryland, and is the cohost of the Grandy & Andy Morning Show, a light current-events talk show on 630 WMAL-AM in Washington, D.C.

In addition to his radio show and university lectures, he also does guest speaker gigs at assorted charitable and educational organizations. He also did a bang-up job in a small role on Law and Order a couple of years ago, in an episode called "B****" (female dog). He played a colorful wealthy Texan, and sounded more than a little bit like G. W. Bush.

not sure today but a few years back he served in the house of representatives for iowa..probably has some radio show on xm or sirius like everyone else does
