It depends what the intention behind the action is.. for example I am engaged to my partner. I often sit with my best friend (who is a guy) and watch a film with my head on his shoulder or whatever. But nothing would ever EVER happen 'cause he's my best friend and there is just nothing like that between us, and of course, because I'm madly in love with my fiance. But if my friend and I weren't so close and there was a possibilityof anything, I'd consider that dangerous ground.
Going out for dinner with a guy I wouldn't consider cheating.. it could be business, friendly, anything. I don't consider outings as cheating.
I'm very friendly so I don't consider things like hugs or maybe a cuddle from a mate if I'm down or whatever cheating. Kissing is cheating. So is anything else involving stuff you'd usually do with your partner, involving your bodies.
I don't consider being emotionally attached to someone other than your partner cheating. It's not your fault how you feel. It's if you act on those feelings without sorting things out with your current partner that you're in the wrong.

that should be set up on a one and one base with a partner and what Our terms are this!
Don't put yourself in a sistuation where you would be tempted to be cheated on!
if you do that only shows me your still looking for the right person to be in your life and your leaveing it open by putting yourself in a sistuation where you may be tempted...
again tho this term can very from person to person.. so at the start of every relationship this need to be agree upon so there are no suprizes later on in the relationship!
Best wishes!

Cheating: When a guy is in a relationship and decides to have more than friendly relations with another person. Also fliring with anyone outside, of the relationship.

In any way touching the opposite sex,or having her touch him.
There is the being personally intimate too, like sharing your inner self with a woman .
I would consider either one good for ending a relationship.

Any romantic contact with a member of the opposite sex.
Dinner out counts. One kiss counts. Becoming emotionally involved counts (perhaps most of all!).

Its a sticky subject. Obviously sex, and ongoing sex is an unforgiveable sin, but an ongoing intimate relationship that is not physical is a form of cheating.
I could probably forgive a drunken one nighter, but I know my boyfriend wouldnt, so where does that leave me?

Seeking any kind of fulfillment from another person outside of your current relationship......and that also goes for emotional affairs, not just sexual. A lot of sexual affairs usually start out emotional.

if you wouldn't do or say something to a member of the opposite sex (or the same sex in some cases) in front of your girlfriend (or boyfriend), it's cheating.
