The bottle of gatorade was left in the car overnight but did not freeze even though it went down to 15 degrees. The bottle of water in the car did... What happened?

The freezing point of sea water is zero degrees F.

Sports drinks are loaded with "sodium" (salt) and "carbs" (sugar). Each of those lowers the freezing point of water, much like the salt in the ocean.

The Gatorade was supercooled. Basically, what happens is that the Gatorade's temperature lowered below the freezing point, but because the inside of the bottle was smooth there were no places for ice crystals to originally form. When you got the Gatorade out of the freeze and moved it around, that movement created tiny bubbles and a place for ice crystals to start forming (which then started a chain reaction for the rest of the liquid to freeze). I included a Youtube video of a supercooled liquid in my sources (and there are many others).

Gatorade contains sugar and salts, which lowers the freezing point

Gatorade has salt in it and salt prevents things from freezing, it has nothing to do with sugar

particles within a liquid can accelerate or retard the freezing process. The gatorade has all sorts of stuff in it like sugar and red 40, and that kept it from freezing.

It's actually the salt. It lowers the freezing point of the solution.

It is probably because gatorade contains metooxyphene which increases the electrolyte pressure in the unlimited petrol syrum which is designed to... just kidding i have no idea why your gatorade froze.
