NO I am a Bush supporter but we do not need to change the Constitution for him.
How about this amendment instead:
All speech from the floor of the House or Senate and all speech from an elected official to his/her constituents shall be treated as if the speaker is under oath in a court of law ans subject to the federal perjury laws. Also, all political advertising shall adhere to the truth in advertising laws.

No. However, a constitutional amendment is the best reflection of the will of the people, so I would put it to a test. There are far far far too many congressmen been in office for decades.
There is also a good argument that term limits already existed. Without it being an amendment. In reality, if the people were genuinely sick of a leader, He'd be voted out.
That said, I WOULD like to not only keep term limits on the White House, I'd like to see that spread, through amendment, or the voting booth, throughout both houses of congress.

With his rating with the American people; that would be a hard one to pull off!
The two term limit is more than enough for any one man to serve as President. Only during the 2nd WW did a President serve longer than the two term limit. That was acceptable to the people because we were in a must win situation. Even during the Civil War this was unacceptable.
The Constitution should remain as is; we have fooled with it enough with amendment after amendment & what have we really accomplished? Nothing. If we change it; heaven help us if we get another G.W. Bush as president & have to keep him for 12 years!

Just think about that? don't you think we have had enough of the EOE people? I mean really? We gave a mentally deficient man a chance to prove himself, a 2.35 percentile in College, I think enough is enough? Don't you? So now it is time to get an intelligent person after all everyone gets a turn right?
Musical chairs and politics? Time to Rock and Roll Yeah baby.

Two terms are long enough for any President. No there will never be an amendment asking for that.

It was not amended for Reagan- so I see no reason to amend it for Bush. He is a good man, but the unreasoning hatred stirred against him by the Dems has definetly undercut his government- and as a direct consequence- hurt the US

and when he runs for election again, he'll only get that 28% of the vote that supports him. and since term limits have been thrown out b. clinton will be able to run again and he'll capture the rest of the vote.
