Nike - Greek goddess of Victory. The reason they have this name should be self-explanitory. The company wants to hold itself up to the ideal one would expect from a goddess of victory.

Nike's the best example :-)

Also, the Gillette for Women Venus Vibrance razor. Since Venus is the super beautiful goddess of love, I guess they're trying to imply that you have to be shaven just right to be beautiful and loved :-)
