What city became part of the Roman Empire after the first Punic War?

No city became part of the "Roman Empire" after the First Punic war. Simply because during the First Punic War- Rome was a Republic.

The Romans defeated the Carthagians (also called Punicians) in the Punic Wars (there were three of them!). After the first Punic War - which was won by Rome - Rome got Sicilia (Sicily) and Sardinia as their first non-Italian territories (these would be the first Roman provinces). After the Second War - which was against Hannibal Barkas, who came from Spain and over the Alps to Italy! - Rome gained Gallia Cisalpina (Provence) and Hispania (Spain). The Third War (which was actually more a cat and mouse game, with Rome as the cat) ended with the destruction of Carthage and Africa proconsularis (the area around Carthago: northern Tunisia and the coast of western Libya). Rome would never more fear Carthage (metus Punicus) as it had during the Second Punic War when Hannibal stood for the gates of Rome. And their "fear for the Gauls" (metus Gallicus) would end almost a century later when Caesar conquer all of Gaul (or so he claimed). Between the Second and Third Punic War the Roman fought in the East and after definitively having made an end to Carthage Rome could start expanding its empire towards the east where the rich Diadoch kingdoms were waiting to be plucked like a ripe fruit. And the rest is as they say history. ;-)
