Someone informed me that if a man refrains from masturbation, it can become painful for them, therefore all men have to masturbate. Can anyone confirm/deny this statement?

well it won't hurt physically but you will find yourself aroused more often and you tend to get 'wet dreams' if you do not masturbate and you will be sexually stressed lol.

If you are looking for an excuse to masterbate, that is a good one! You want a doctor's note? It is your body. Do with it what you will, responsibly of course. Don't masterbate while looking in the neighbor's window. And your question seems to assume that only men have a need???
We once had a patient who'd been in a monestary in Spain as a young man. He was married, but still very afraid of the evils of self you know. He developed a prostate problem from lack of activity. Not to mention what it did to his nerves! He was married, but she was ug, not a bastion of babehood. He was better off holding his own. But he needed a doctor's permission to free him from whatever catholic guilt had been laid upon him in his youth.

Seriously, everyone's sexual appetite is different. If you have the need, do it. Some folks are more avid than others. It's personal. Your preference. Don't wear the thing out, but enjoy it, in your privacy, please! If you feel guilty, it's probably because of being 'caught' and humiliated about a natural process. Everyone masterbates, some won't admit it. Some may not realize it. But it is normal for humans, and animals to do so. You can share with a loved one, an intimate loved one. Read the Kama Sutra.
The only reason to refrain is for self flaggelation. That is as perverse as being overly obsessed with whacking off. Consider a nice shower with the added bonus of 'cleaning the old pipes' as normal as brushing the old teeth.

There is something referred to as "blue balls" where you can become a bit sore in the testicular area if you don't have sexual release for a while. That can easily be relieved by masturbation of course and nature takes care of the built up semen/sperm by noctural emissions ("wet dreams") while you are sleeping. I can't imagine why anyone would want to refrain from the completely normal and healthy and fun act of masturbation...but to each his own!

In and of itself there is no sin in masturbation (or any other form of sex for that matter). Where sin enters when you USE another person for your own personal gain. That is exactly what having sex without a love commitment is. It makes no difference if there was mutual consent... that is just two people using the other. In the case of masturbation, if you use pornography or visualize another person you are likewise using that person. The fact that they do not know about it makes no difference. Using a person like this is treating the person as an object.... a thing whose function it is to amuse you. If you do masturbate do not visualize having sex with a real person, and do not use porn.

A man should masturbate according to his needs. If he doesn't need to, then there's no reason to "force" the issue. And, if he truly needs to experience sexual release, it might be detrimental, both physically and psychologically, to "deny" himself this pleasure. There is a theory, to which I subscribe, which says that it is healthy for a man to keep ejaculating and experienceing orgasm for as many years as he can. There are many men who masturbate well into their eighties and even nineties. Most older men do not have wives, or girlfriends, who will provide the opportunities for "normal" sex that they need. The only practical answer for them is to masturbate.

There's no rule that says all men have to masturbate; however, it's actually a healthy thing to do in terms of maintaining good prostate health. Not only that, it's also fun.

It doesn't become painful, but you run the risk of getting testical cancer if you don't release sperm every once in a while. But if you don't masturbate, your body automatically releases in wet dreams. But hey, if worse comes to worst...masturbate!

It doesn't hurt to not masturbate. If you don't ever ejaculate, you will get wet dreams because your boody is programed to release from time to time. Men masturbate because it feels good.
