I just bought the burning crusade expansion but when the blizzard downloader comes up, it says that my computer is behind a firewall, and i dont know what to do!

If windows xp go to Control panel>Security Center>Windows Firewall, Then turn it off

It will continue to download the patches, it'll just go a little slower. I've had this happen, disabled the firewall, opened the ports on the router, everything, and then I'd still get the message. Just let it go, it'll download it all eventually.

Windows firewall won't do it. You are using a modem or a router who needs certain ports forwarded. The downloader should still download, but if it's slow, there is a little blue spot where it says "click here." When you click, then go to slow connection, and it will walk you through the port forarding config by device (either router or modem) and by brand.

This happened to me too but my firewall was already turned off so I got mad and waited a few days, When I tried again it started downloading :)
