Ok dear if she has all of those symptoms she needs to go to an OB/GYN and get a blood test done since there are many women who get pregnant and take a home test only it shows up negative due to the insufficent hormone levels in her urine. Urine tests are based upon concentrated amounts of HCG and if she has been drinking a lot or takes the test in the afternoon hours her levels will be low if she would like to take another test she needs to minimize her fluid intake go to sleep and use her first urine of the day it should show up since the first urine is the most concentrated. If it still shows negative but she continues to have symptoms and no period then she needs to get an appointment to be examined and a blood test. So the answer of why it didnt show up if she is pregnant is low hormone levels in urine so either get her seen and blood tested or do a first urine of the day and it may show a faint line which would mean that her levels are low. So good luck hope this answered your question

You can get a false negative but not a false positive from a home test. She should go to docs and have an exam they may send her for an early ultrasound and do a blood test if they still get a negative from a urine test. Her pregnancy hormones may not have kicked in yet. You don't usually bloom til later in the pregnancy when all the extra blood is flowing through your body. Good luck.

Have her go to the doctor and get a blood test, that should show up for sure. It is possible to have false negatives on regular test. The only way to find out is go to the doctor. Good Luck....and i like how you said "cute bump" lol

If they're all coming back negative, she shouldn't hold her breath. Have her get to a doctor and see what he says. He has tests which are even more accurate than the over-the-counter variety, and I think they're pretty much infallible--she'd be much more likely to get a false positive than a false negative. She may even be having a false pregnancy--she wants to be pregnant so badly that her mind is telling her body she is (like a psychosomatic illness).

You can have a false negative if the HCG levels aren't high enough. Not sure about her having a bump so early though....You usually don't show until 16 weeks at the very earliest - depending on the woman's build and how the baby is laid.

this bump is not cause shes pg you dont show until over 12wks unless you are a 00 and she can have a false negative but stress can prolong a period or she just not pg tests usally show results positive a few days before missed period tell her to go to the doc

Bellies tend to bloat before a period, so it could be a late period. Since her pregnancy tests came back negative, she should see her OB/gyn for an examination and blood work up.

She maybe pregnant however, the horomes that pick up the test may not be elevated....it could be that she could miscarry because of the low elevated horome level. To be more accurate she should get the doctor to preform a pregnancy test via blood. It will be more accurate and will screen horomone levels.

If she is pregnant she wouldn't have a bump yet! Get her to go to the Doctors for a check up. I hope you get the result you both want.
