Depending on the shoes... if they are regular tennis shoes you can just throw them in the washer with some towels that you either don't mind if they get messed up or just some like colors. Don't mind the noise, just let it be. If they are like jordans or tims or something with a fragile material, I wouldn't suggest this option.

take a small rag/towel and put vinager on it. rub it on the shoe & the salt will come off.
