No cells undergo glycolysis. Glucose molecules undergo glycolysis and get oxidized into two pyruvic acid molecules in aerobic respiration. Almost all cells have glycolysis happening in them though.

It has to do with expression of the enzymes involved with glycolysis. I think almost all cells do it; brain, muscle (especially), liver, etc. Glycolysis is pretty universal, bacteria have the same process.

most b/c glycolysis happens in the cytoplasm and even bacteria have a cytoplasm
