It's normal and it's exactly what it's feels like "stretching of your uterus and ligaments." Better known as "round ligament pain."

Totally normal, although I didn't start feeling "stretching" til about 6 months or so (probably cuz I had a little extra room to begin with!) Your body has to make more space for your growing baby and placenta and blood! Some days the pain will be deep from where your muscles are stretching and some times it will literally just be your skin stretching.

It is completely normal, and it is exactly what it feels like..stretching. You ligaments are stretching and making room for your baby. Don't worry. Sometimes laying on your left side in a sort of fetal position can help.

This is round ligament pain, caused by the stretching of those ligaments that are anchored to your uterus. I have found that moving slowly, taking deep breaths and bending into the pain can help somewhat, but these are as pesky and hurtful as afterpains. Do the best you can with it!!!
