what it maens when you have a pain in your left side. i always get a sharp pain in my left side it feels like someone is stabbing me what should i do?

How often do you get the pain? Every time I ovulate, I get a sharp pain in my left side for a few days before my period. I went to the Dr and he said its my ovary releasing an egg. I would have it checked out if I were you. Good luck.

i sure don't know. but it should be checked out by medical doctor. i only know there is liver on that side also. if it were your right side say gall bladder but you need to go and find out.
