The guidon is used to help orginize the different units so each unit will know where to stand. The Pathfinder flag is to let others know that this is a group of young christians called Pathfinders and will orginize each club from each other if you are in a mass of Pathfinder clubs you will know where each club begins and ends at such events as the Pathfinder Fair or Camporee
