In the movie Timerider,the main character,Lyle Swann takes a trip back in time to the old west wearing a necklace that was passed down to him from his Great Great grandmother...he meets her and as he leaves she takes it from him.....he got it from her,she got it from him....so who made it?.....

My favorite is Star Trek IV. The save the whales Star Trek movie. Scotty and McCoy talk to a man who can supply them with a thick plexiglass for making the tanks for the whales. They do not have any way to pay him so Scotty offers him the formula for making transparent aluminum. McCoy objects and Scotty asks "How do we know he did not invent the stuff?"
So the guy gets the formula from them but they got the formula from him. No one actually invented it.

It was the story of a woman, befriended by a man who impregnated her and disappeared. In giving birth it was found that her female reproductive system had to be removed, but she also had a complete male repro system. That made him/her into the man who traveling in time made contact with his former self and created himself.
The end of the story was 'I know where I came from, but where did all of you zombies come from?' ;-)
