Will you have sex on a first date?

Personally I don't like to.

I'd rather get to know the other person a bit first off & not just jump straight into bed with them.

I don't know if many blokes are like this?

I'm a girl, and typically I don't have sex on the first date...usually I don't have sex until we have been dating for some time, for the same reasons you mentioned above.

However there is the odd person that you are wildly sexually attracted to, and you end up banging before you even leave the house...so I guess it depends on the person.

If I like a person and I find them sexually attractive on the first date and they reciprocate that feeling then I would do it. We are in the year 2007, there's no longer the male dominance images of virgin/**** bullshit that engulfed the previous century. People are people and if people are available and attracted to each other when they find themselves at a mutual state of attraction, wether it be one date or ten, and they go for it, good for them. It's all cool, there's not enough peace and love in the world anyway. Putting up walls like "I'm not gonna do anything until X date" doesn't help anyone, supposing you said that then you had the best time with a guy, thought you were falling madly in love with him on the first date and he was feeling the same way, so you did it. The next day you'd feel like shitt and give yourself a hard time, and he might to, when all that's happened it two people who care about each other have had showed thier care, love devotion and emotion be doign what comes so naturally to all of us. I just don't think making rules and putting up walls like that is a good idea. See what happens, only learn from mistakes.

I don't think so. You have to get to know a person a bit before just doing everything all in one night and having nowhere else for the relationship to progress to. Plus they might have some std they forgot to tell you about haha. :P

if you are on a first date then it is likely that you want to make an impression that leads to a second date and possibly a relationship so having sex would create the wrong impression, however if you don't want to have sex with the person you are on the date with then you're with the wrong person.

No. I have more respect for myself that to rent my body out for a night. I have no problems with pre-marital sex in a committed relationship and if all the guy wants is easy sex he can go somewhere else.

I'm not against sex outside marriage, but surely it is the most intimate thing any couple can do. How can you do this with an almost total stranger, and once you've done this, what is there left to do?

its depends on wether i am bothered about the guy and i think i could turn it into a relationship after a few more dates.

if i want like a second date i wont have sex.

if i feel that it wouldnt work out then i might (but not always if the date was bad no chance).
