not really. and still the bloody tv licence has gone up this year, as it usually does. why, we ought to ask, should people be made to pay for the amount of rubbish on tv, and for shows of which people hardly watch themselves. its absurd

Why do you have a computer and not a TV? Well, that's besides the point. I have to say you're not missing much. There's a bunch of crap on TV today. I wish we could go back in time to the 50s and 60s. There were so many classics on TV then: The Twilight Zone, The Addams Family, The Andy Griffith Show, I Love Lucy; just to name a few. The only show that really love and must see every week is LOST. It's really good. The mysteries in it almost remind me of The Twilight Zone: But it could never be as good as The Twilight Zone!

In 2007 I did not think it was possible...
Yes, and no. I work in the great industry of television. I work on a popular news program and I know the crap you are force fed that is called news.
Television is a great way to relax and escape the everyday for a finite amount of time. It is one of humankind's inventions that while it can shape the minds of the young, it can be used in a great way for all. How else can you put a message that everyone can see all at the same time?
But, looking at the trends, television as we know it will cease to exist in 40 or so years. You really should be buying a PC!

Yes. Television is the true great educator. T.V. has good and bad things, you just have to sift through it.

if you have never seen the original shows that are now repeated you are missing good stuff as the shows were ALOT better and funnier then.
