I did and pretty badly too, someone suggested I put a piece of amethyst crystal under my bed as it enhances sleep and believe it or not it seems to be working, I have slept a lot better this last few weeks than I have for a year, hope this helps.

I know this is an old question but I had to answer. I suffered from bipolar disorder for 5 years - so I had my share of episodes of deep depression. The whole thing started with major depression. The thing about disorders like bipolar are that they are caused by biological factors. My depression came on without warning - like I woke up one day extremely depressed and steadily got worse. There was no event that caused it. After 5 years of severe ups and downs, and a hell of a lot of work to get myself sane and stable again, my nightmare was over. I still have some episodes of depression but they are very short and not nearly as bad as they used it be

I find that reading a boring book can help. I also use lavender oil on my pillow and a few drops in a warm bath before bed can be good. Try not to have caffine or alcohol a few hours before going to bed. If its really bad u should go chat with ur doctor.

No not really. But one way to cure it is to stay awake 24 hours, the next night you'll get your zzzzzzzzz's!!

P.S. No caffienne.

No, but if I think I need better sleep, I take an Ativan to relax my stress and bring good sleep on!

I did for a lil while, and my doctor gave me Lunesta for a week, that really helped.
