I am currently a general history major, but i have been looking into art history. I'd love to work at a museum - as a curator or someone in arts administration, but i don't have much of an idea as to what i should get my undergraduate, much less my masters in. Any thoughts??

History, Art History, languages for undergrad. There are masters programs in Arts Administration (Boston University) and in Museum Studies. There is a great internship program/grant at the Smithsonian Institution for PhD students of Museum Studies.
Good luck.

Get an undergraduate degree in Art History and a Master of Public Administration degree.

Bachelors in Art History or Art Appreciation
(World History if neither of these are possible at your Univ.)
Associates in Business Admin or Marketing

You can decide on a Masters once you have finishe your bachelors. Most companies just want to know that you have the follow through to get a degree. If you interview & say you are currently working on your Masters, no one will look down on you.

Definitly art history. From there you can find graduate programs that are more specific to museum curating, etc. Check princetonreview.com! You can search schools that offer specific degrees and narrow your search by part of the country, price, size, etc. It's a great free resource!!!

Try for a degree in Art History. If your college doesn't offer one, stick with General History and get a MA in Art History.
