See, I have a really bad case of homesickness, so whenever I stay the night at someone's house, I always have to go home early due to it.

This Saturday is my BFF's birthday party. We have been BFF's for 5 years and i have never stayed the night @ her house. Anyway, she is having a b-day party (OVERNIGHT!!) and she has invited 5 of the most popular girls in school (let's just say I am NOT very popular) and I am sure they don't like me and they talk bad about me all the time. What do i do? first of all, i want to go to my bff's party, but i'll get homesick and i won't fit in at all. WHAT THE HECK DO I DO?!

Go. Don't worry about those popular girls, just have fun with your BFF. Tell her ahead of time that you can't stay overnight because you have to get up very early for a dr. appointment or something like that.

Awww. I feel for ya. Kinda sounds like me my freshman yr in highschool. Go for your friend. It'll mean alot to her to have you there. Being homesick sucks, but you've got to try and find a way to work through that. Maybe call your folks before the party. Maybe you won't feel as homesick. If you really don't wanna stay over however, you can say you're a little under the weather, but wanted to see her. For the record, I was in a simialr situation and I wound up going, just not staying over, I gave you my lie! These girls were popular and rich and I was neither. I felt soooo out of place. But my friend was happy that I came. Her being happy made me happy I went.
I hope I helped!

I had the same problem when you go over to her house familiarize yourself with something in the room by looking at it for awhile. Now about the other girls just be as nice as you can be if they talk behind your back to your bff about you just act like you didn't hear it. If your bff is a good friend she will stand up for you. When it's time to go to sleep look at thing you familiarized yourself with and don't take your eyes off from it you will start to drift in no time. Good Luck and have fun!

Go but have a back up plan, if you feel very uncomfortable then text your parents a code word and they can call to collect you because of a family emergency or something.

Try and figure these girls out, they won’t go away even when you leave school you will find woman like this all the way through your life. The sooner you learn to handle them the better for you.
