Amazing film. Definetly should win...and I think it might. Of course, Guillermo del Toro is an amazing director. I wish he would do more films.

I enjoyed the movie a lot and believe it could win but of course the prize is up to the subjectivity of the voters from The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. If they get to see it and like it I believe it could will. Also for further note Guillermo del Toro is mainly a director, producer and writer. Now Benicio Del Toro (chel) is who some people are thinking of when they are thinking of acting.

Haha :) he's an extremely frightening action picture monster. I felt diverse hysteria while he became chasing Ophelia down that hall! he's unquestionably one in all my regular action picture monsters. My regular ever is hard to compliment, i like some...yet i will elect Brundlefly, the tousled introduction that scientist Jeff Goldblum will become, in....The Fly! He particularly scares me and makes me experience incredibly unwell. yet then back, he starts off so fascinating and handsome! (pre-teleportation twist of destiny) Have a surprising day too! :)

I think it can. Of those nominated, I've only seen "Pan's" and "Water" though.
I thought "Water" was good, but sad. And I wish they had focused the whole movie on the little girl, rather than going off onto other plotlines.
It's difficult to compare such films as "Pan's Labyrinth" and "Water" though, since they are of such different genres and styles. I cannot image comparing these two to the other nominees (of which I have very little knowledge about).
That being said....I think it can win, and I would like it to win. (But too bad it's not entirely my decision.)

I have watched it. I liked it too but then there are still many flaws in the movie. As a foreign movie, I do not know about others but then "water" was a far better movie than that. I wish it gets the oscars this time.
