relies upon on your jurisdiction (state and county). each and every county has a training set via the state on how lots to fee plus any extra county quotes. some states value as low as 25$ on the same time as others value 3 hundred+. additionally, some courts value for copies and different misc expenditures. All courts allow you to document a fee waiver while you're indigent (poor or otherwise low money). the approach time is often jurisdiction based. maximum states have a obligatory put off from submitting to listening to. Ex. in case you document in Texas, there's a obligatory 60 day put off earlier a listening to could be set. at present (June 2009) in citadel properly worth Tx there the courts are approximately 4 months at the back of that 60 day put off. the approach of direction is swifter if its a joint divorce with none hiccups. in case you have toddlers and in for a conflict, the approach might desire to take greater desirable than a 365 days. For a joint divorce the place you only desire out, you truthfully document pay the fee, theyll set you a courtroom date, take place, gained the decree and your on your way. i could provide it 3-4 months reckoning on your section.

I really do not know... Contact an attorney and find out... They will let you know and i feel that it may cost differently for each case.... You can always call your local courthouse and they may be able to answer this question as well.... It may take as little as 3 to 6 months for divorce or even longer if he contests and fights you on it. An uncontested no fault divorce might be very expensive... Like i said ask you local court house.

Call the office of the court clerk in the county where you live. They can tell you the filing fee.
