Many will tell you that opinion on quality of music is entirely subjective. I will tell you they are wrong.

Scientists have spent hours figuring out objective ways of measuring how much a song sucks in relationship to another song. For example, on the Mannilow/Federline Scale of Music Suckage, "Hey Jude" ranks a .12 out of 10, which suggests that it barely sucks at all. In fact, that is one of the least sucky songs - at least according to science, and who would argue with science?

As far as the most sucky song goes, one the M/F Scale the odd "What's the New Mary Jane" gets at 9.639, which does not put it in the 1000 suckiest songs of all time, but does sandwich it directly between The Bee Gee's "Too Much Heaven" and Hammer's "2 Legit 2 Quit," a pair of very sucky songs indeed.

So, in conclusion, objective observations by trained scientists have demonstrated that the suckiest Beatles song is "What's the New Mary Jane.

For the record, the songs you mention have the following M/F Scale ranking:

love me do - 5.713
Blue jay way - 7.999
I dont want to spoil the party - 9.201
I wanna hold your hand - 2.017
I should have known better - 1.196
every little thing - 4.552

Very subjective question indeed, intially thought most people would be united but obviously not, I think they're mostly fantastic, Hey Jude, Yesterday etc.brilliant - Yellow Submarine, O bla Di O Bla Da etc.rubbish. Joey Micheal has the grading formula worked out - lost the will to live after the first paragraph tho!

Fixing A Hole...I was about 10 years old, and was off to school after getting a pasting from Da. The school bus driver used to have his tinny Japanese radio playing, and the morning I was feling sorry for myself after getting my rear tanned good stylee, that tune was playing, with the driver and a couple of the older kids happily singing along - it was a week or so after the summer holidays.
