umm he was a ruthless leader to his own people destroyed loads of innocent families' lives and how is killing innocent people not enough. The guy was going on what in his mind was an ethnic cleansing, he ravaged the lands searching high and low for the perfects (blue eyes blond hair aryan descendents) he sought to create a perfect world containing only the people he wished to have in it. If you werent pefect or of the non-minoral descent then you were kept around. Otherwise you were killed.

He also gassed Christians, Freemasons, homosexuals, the handicapped, gypsies, and anyone he thought who opposed him real or imagined.
He also painted some rather bland water colors and had a couple of homosexual encounters.
He rebuilt Germany's economy, and then completely destroyed Germany in 12 years in WWII (which caused the death of 50 Million people)

Hitler showed that even an evil madman can rise to power through democracy. We must learn from that mistake, unfortunately the U.S. is heading down that path. If you pick up a phone and constantly say bomb or drugs alot then you just might be visited by some law enforcement officials.

we all know him for killing from 3 to 6 million jews but the Russians killed 34 million and no one made a big deal. He was harsh and oppressive and even got kicked out of art school but he did get Germany on its feet again after World War I. His love life was confusing but remained single until his marriage a couple of days previous to his death as that kept women crazy about him(apparently their love for power was great enough to make him seem cute i personally disagree). His own megalomania blinded him into his defeat and he achieved to hold on to pretty much the same territory as Napoleon nearly a hundred years before. He lost due to his war on two fronts; never in history has anyone won a war on two fronts but he did well to hang in there. His own pride chose death over capture. If interested, try watching Chaplin's the Great Dictator, a satire of Hitler as Hynkel(yes, worth watching) and a slighly harsh movie, The Downfall.
He was not good, he was not bad. He was a dictator.
He was a very insecure person, holding on to 'white supremacy' and he did not even take part of his standards as he was from Jewish descent and had dark hair but he tried to even it out with merciless response.

Unfortunately if these statements were deleted then the people who stated them would be screaming about their freedom of speech being taken away. And anyone who claims the holocaust did not happen needs a cold shower.

Isn't that enough? If not consider all the others he killed: slavs, gypsies, the mentally ill, the disabled, homosexuals, and political prisoners. If that's still not enough, how does laying waste to most of Europe grab you?
