Mix one part flour with about 2 parts of water until you get a consistancy like thick glue. Add more water or flour as necessary. Mix well to get out all the bumps. Add a few tablespoons of salt to help prevent mold!

Adding Elmer glue to a any recipe will give it more strength.

flour water and salt is the way to make that glue BUT it does go soggy in the humid or wintry weather if you dont seal it REALLY REALLY well with varnish to finish (once its dry of course)
Funny thing...
I did see on a kids show on TV only yesterday how to make glue and I am kicking myself for not writing it down but it goes something like this... I hope ....
to 1 cup of milk add
2 tblspoons vinegar
stir and leave to separate ( goes all lumpy - curdled )
Strain the lumps off and keep this part (the lumps)
then you add some bicarbonate of soda (how much ??)
try a teaspoon at a time perhaps..
this will fizz and react with the acids in the curds and get sticky,
give good stir to make smoothe and you have glue...
I will try this myself and see how it goes..
good luck
happy mache

It's just a mixture of flour & water. Blend it until it's a smooth consistency. It will look good. kinda like if the girl above knew how to spell correctly....
