now that lane kiffin is the raiders head coach...can he turn their dismal offense around??? hes been running one of the most efficient offenses in the country over the last few years, which was basically a pro style offense...can he produce the same results in oakland?????

Juke...i dont think hes an offensive "genious" like norm chow but he was a huge part of carrolls success...pete ran the D and gave full control of the offense to kiffin...

Only way they get better is if
1. They clean house and get some young blood in there, and
2. Lane Kiffin is an offensive genius and proves he was the brains behind Pete Carroll's success.
But first and foremost they need to get rid of the malcontents. You can have all the talent in the world but it won't matter if no one wants to work.

I think he needs to find a QB first who will fit that type of offense. Aaron Brooks is the worst waste of talent in the past 10 years, and Walter just looks lost as an NFL quarterback.
I think he can produce results, but not overnight. The Raiders need to keep that strong D while getting some offensive players who can produce. It starts with the QB, but they also need to revise a really predictable playbook.

As bad as this team is, they're not that far off. The defense is fine. If they can trade down in the draft and pick up some quality players, they can fix this think in 2 years. I don't expect them to be anything but average this next year, with hopes of playoffs in 2-3 years.

if they get a better QB then aaron brooks, i think they have a chance to pull a new orleans style comeback for the 07-08 season. maybe a couple of new recievers too.

If they draft Adrian Peterson and a good QB like Russell or Kolb, then they got a shot. Brady will be a HUGE failure so stay away from him. He reminds me of Rick Mirer.
