because they have nothing else better to do, and since they have no musical talent, what's easier than reciting a poem with a beat behind it to make more money? :D

I doubt it because no one forces these people to record and release it. However, it is an abundantly clear sign that the commerical/mainstream side of Rap music is on the verge of a collapse. It often comes and goes as an afterthought because much of it is garbage. And people think why is the American music industry suffering with poor sales? It is because we cannot get the quality music with positive, uplifting, good messages and we are forced to ingest this trash that keeps many in a state of self induced depression. Thing carefully about it and you will find there is truth to it.

I am glad you don't waste money on music that does nothing to enrich your mind or make you feel better while forgetting an stresses/problems of the day. Only underground and alternative rap is any good as it is.

A Gangsta Rap/Hardcore Rap Backlash may come sooner than others think because millions of people do disapprove of what is once excellent art form as been reduced to. These atrocious, irrevelent Caucasion rappers, (mainly those from reality television), have seemed to only strengthen that point. Once more, and people think why people won't pay for CD's and sales are down? Because this is not food, it is garbage that degrades and devalues women and good gay men (excluding man whores, drug abusers, etc.) doing good things with their life. Peace.
