Honestly my labor was fine I had hardly any pain, I was sleeping through the contractions until they came in and woke me up to tell me that I wasn't progressing enough and they had to have a c-section. So in my opinion it was bad at all besides once your child is born you almost forget all about how labor was.

To be honest labor is not easy. It definitly is painful. I just had my first baby 4 months ago, and I can still remember the pain, but I would definitly do it again, its worth the final outcome. After baby comes out, the pain is gone. There are meds you can take so you don't feel much, like an epideral, or demerol and morphine just take the edge off. I had one shot of morphine and thats it. I wanted to just forget it all and go home but this baby was coming and well Im glad I stayed...

Labor changes from women to women, we are all different.I know some who were having the baby and did not feel it. About me?It was a 12 hours long pain. I fell asleep between each contractions, even for a couple of minutes. But like i said before we are all different....

well, mine was a breeze ( sais I 3 years later! haha) it did hurt like hell before I got my epidural, then I felt nothing! so i pushed for 30 minutes and out came my baby boy! and it is the best thing that has ever happened and the best experience of a life time, I am 23 weeks pregnant with my 2nd (its a girl)
so for every woman its different, but for me it was a grand total of 4 hours from 1st contraction (very mild mind you!) until baby crying!
Good Luck! its only scary because its the unknown, thats how I was and now i feel like a pro!

Well its bad and yes it really does hurt. But the result is worth it. When you think of all the years you would have your presious child for labour and delivery seems such a tiny amount of time. Anyways in all fairness these days women dont need to suffer as much because of all the advances in medical technology!

i HAD MY SECOND NATURAL ONLY BECAUSE THE EPIDERAL DID NIT WORK! IT HURT, BUT I MAD IT THROUGH IT AND HEY, 15 MONTHS LATER HAD ANOTHER BABY! SO IF IT WERE SUCH A BAD THING, WOMEN WOULD ONLY HAVE 1 CHILD, NOT MULTIPLES! YOU FORGET THE PAIN FAST! A BABY IS SO WORTH THE PAIN! IF YOUR EPIDERAL WORKS, YOU DO NOT REALLY FEEL ANYTHING ANYWAYS! I WAS INDUCED ALL 3 TIMES, SO I NEVER WENT IN LABOR MYSELF! YOU'LL KNOW WHEN YOU ARE READY AND THERE IS NOTHING TO FEAR! WOMEN HAVE BABIES EVERY SECOND OF THE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!GOOD LUCK WHEN YOU DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had an epidural all three times. It did work, but it doesn't take away all of the pain. Nobody told me that. getting the epidural itself hurts very bad and woman should be told the truth.
If you're like me, you'll cry and be shocked at how bad it is the first time, but it's worth it and you won't care about pain anymore the very second that baby is before your eyes.
