People say that I am aggravating because (in their opinion) I ask too many (stupid) questions. My teachers told me that no questions are stupid questions & that the only stupid questions are the ones not asked.

Absolutely true! The question not asked is the one that will bite you! Have you seen the movie "Labyrinth"? (a Muppet movie, of sorts). There's a scene early in the movie where the girl is told not to take a certain path: "Never go that way!!" So she goes the other way without asking why not to take the first path. It turns out that the first path would have taken her directly to her destination!

Sounds like you need a different circle of friends, people more like you, who appreciate you and value your curiosity. Suggestion: look for the outcasts! They appreciate all the attention they can get!

That is the price you pay for being "curious"

If it bothers you then try to learn some of the ansers by yourself. I was lkike you when I was a kid in school, so I would write the things down I wanted to know and go to the library after school and find out what they meant. Sometimes I would find a lonely smart person, such as a retired teacher or professor. They would love to answer all my questions and it made them feel good that their knowledge was being used. Try it yourself. !

well if i ask the stupidest thing, like when the teacher is in the middle of explaining Rational Expressions and i asked her what multiplication meant, thats really agravating - youre wasting the time of the other students and youre cutting off an important string of words from the teachers mouth -
keep em to yourself then ask the teacher after class

cheers

People sometimes don't use COMMON SENSE or they ask things that are easily found out on your own if you just look them up.

In class on a specific subject that's right what your teacher says. But out in the world, try a little self reliance if people are saying your questions are stupid. Look stuff up on the net.

It depends on the question..... Some askers are not really looking for honest answers. Rather, they are looking for trouble or just answers that they want to hear (true or not). "Questions" that aim at generalizing and blatantly insulting certain groups of people are among the most annoying.

Compared to some of the other people on here, you really aren't that aggravating. You will have to try harder for that distinction.

I would have to disagree. There are stupid questions. I hear them all the time.

When the same question is asked multiple times, just with different wording, it gets kind of annoying.

when you ask a nonsense question it makes others annoyed.some people ask question(even they know the answer) just to test your knowledge or how you could react to that questions.
