Favre because of his arm strength and accuracy. Cunningham had the scrambling ability but lacked in accuracy.

I can't believe anyone would actually say Randall Cunningham is better than Favre.

Favre will go down in history with names like Unitas, Montana and Elway, and he'll be enshrined in Canton soon enough. Cunningham was a good QB, but he's a big notch below any of the names I mentioned. A good scrambler, but it took him years to develop into any sort of pocket passer. And while he was good with the deep ball, he never developed the accuracy for the short and midrange throws.

Favre is likely in the top 10 QBs of all-time. Cunningham would be lucky to break the top 50.

Favre could pass Marino is two major all-time qb stats if he is a starter somewhere next year. N'uff said.
