I just moved into a new neighborhood and speak to my next door neighbors almost daily. It really depends on where you like I guess and if you two have the same schedule (walking out to the car for work in the morning, walking the dog, mowing the lawn, etc.)

Now it is the time to collaborate with neighbors because lot of people are migrated and people do not have time or platform to talk to each other because of lack of time or cultural differences. Time has come to go online and try to be more social. You can try www.streetfull.com

Mine is a ragging alcoholic drug dealer and scares me and my roommate. ; (

He walks outside barefoot with only boxers on and will sneak up behind you when you are trying to open your front door at night and it's dark. He scares the SH&T out of me. I want him to leave.

I say hello when we I them, but that's about it.

They are Polish and don't understand my strong, Scottish accent very well, but they chat to my husband (we live in England so they are used to his accent).

I had this problem once but they can still be good neighbours.

Yes you can have neighbours who are strangely uncommunicative but this doesn't make them bad neighbours.
