In NJ, the casinos have had a partial ban in place for the previous 12 months and an entire ban would be in place in October. The gross revenues has decreased drastically (over $a hundred million lost on the Borgata) over the path of a 12 months because of the fact the partial ban grow to be in place.

Well i think it goes deeper than just resaurants but if you think about fewer people smoking in general because of the bans that would make health cost for many companies go down. I live in the smokies city in the united states (louisville, kentucky) and there is no ban on smoking but i wish there was.

It depends on the business and the area. Overall it will help but it will be the demise of small establishments that have acquired a clientele of mostly smokers.
