I think you are just trying to have a guess at the story line in Coronation Street re : Charlie Stubbs.
Fortunately I do know. The death is reported to the police and if they find no supicious circumstances, assuming the deceased has no money, the body is placed in the charge of the local authority and is buried in an unmarked paupers grave.
