I've met black people from the UK, and the Netherlands. They have not suffered as much as the black people in the US, their history isn't as bitter hence there is less friction--comparatively. They are more integrated and they are not viewed as the most disadvantaged group. They are associated with certain crimes, but so are their white counterparts, crime rates are no longer associated with race as it is with economic status as more and more ethnic groups enter these countries. They continue to excel in sports but more in certain sports than in others, likewise they choose excel in certain types of music, while caucasian counterparts might choose specialise in others. Africans have been for quite some time now no longer at the bottom of academic achievement. Female morrocans are known for doing well in school, while male morrocans are known for ending up at the bottom of their class. Proving that academic achievement is not a function of race but of culture, hence it is difficult for teachers to see their classroom in colors and therefore are less likely to expect differences in achievement based on ethnic lines. "Ebonic" culture, or african subcultures, mostly stem from carribean and south american cultures. On the whole, afro-Europeans have comparatively less friction with caucasian Europeans. America, in all its arrogance and self-righteousness, evidently has much to learn from other countries.

To be real i actually do not care because i do not understand this singer or ever heard of him & Black U.ok. music doesn't have acceptance global. Black music that has gotten acceptance global have continually been from u . s . of america(Toni Braxton, Beyonce, Whitney Houston, Beyonce, Tina Turner, Boys II adult adult males, Marvin Gaye, Stevie ask your self & many more suitable), Caribbean(Bob Marley, Sean Paul, and larger) & even Africa(Fela, 2 face, p-sq., Awilo, King Sunny Ade and larger)) yet interior the U.ok. No, black music doesn't even exist there. i have been there and the purely black singers which have had fulfillment from there the international over are: Estelle Sade Seal Corinne Bailey Rae so his words are meaningless, who cares

Not a dumb question at all. You asked cause you wanted to know.

I've noticed that the people refer themselves to where they are FROM. Like, Hello this is Mary from the UK, or Charles from Scotland. Seems that Americans are the one who want to call or label people.

Beautifully smooth and perfect skin, and with (what we call "GOOD HAIR" you know the slick curly kind) I once saw a very (Hershey) dark guy with very keen features like a skinny pointed nose and curly naturally sandy blond hair. He looked like a painting.

But all types of complexions. Like Chewy Caramel

Their speach is wonderful. Very careful and Proper.

Very nice people too. Actually just appreciate books more than Americans. Actually like books and Love to Learn. That's how they are. IM and I will try and scan you a pick.

don't be miss led we have racist, elites, snobs, just as you do in the USA people everywhere you go are all the same, some good ,some bad, here in the UK a lot of people try to think of themselves as different from the atypical human norm, they think it make them look cool, but deep down it there, but at least thats better then nothing,i hope thats the case where you are!

Black people are very accepted in this country they are treated just like white people(just like they should be!)
I would say the asian population in this country are treated worse in this country, maybe because people associate an asian face with terrorists or 'sponging immigrants'. I blame this on tabloid newspapers and hyped up media. Personally I think everyone is equal and has a right to live wherever they want to.

I've heard (and been witness to) black men from the UK being very well spoken compared to 'most' american black men. I don't know if there is more or less racism there than here (US), but the English folks that I know are quite racist, and Jewish too....

erm, black people are called black people! In Britain, the media try and stir up things with lots of stories about mad political correctness. But in reality, black people that I know think it's hilarious and basically, are just people!

You don't call anyone anything that might even remotely suggest they are from a different race or ethnic group or gender in the UK.

The UK is Politically correct to the point of being neurotic.

Unless you are a White, UK born of 100 generations of UK citizens of course and then you can insult them as much as you like.
