I borrowed Pokemon Fire Red from a friend and played it for a while.Just a few days ago, I went out and bought one for myself. I don't really wanna take the time to find and train all of those pokemon again. He has a DS too. I was wondering if it would be possible for him to send my pokemon to my new game.

Yes, but it is very hard! You must first see every single Pokemon in the Diamond Pokedex to get the National Pokedex. Then put the Diamond version in the DS slot and the Ruby version in the GBA slot. Then, go to the "Migrate from Ruby" option on the main menu of Diamond. Then choose the Pokemon you wish to migrate! You can only take 6 Pokemon from ruby, and you may not put them back. Hope it helps. -Dan

In a couple of months, you can. If you buy Pokemon: Diamond or Pearl in spring 2007, you can get pokemon from FireRed into Pearl/Diamond, but not the other way around. Same can be said for Pearl/Diamond to Pearl/Diamond by Wifi

You have to have more than 6 Pokemon, then you can trade anyhting above 6 (in the box) to your friend for your pokemon on your friends DS (as told to me by my son)
