I am now 2 days late with my you know what. I kind of feel like I am going to start but I haven't. I just feel a little crampy. Should I take a pt now or wait? I really want to know. Thank you for your answers

the best time for a late pregnancy test is two weeks past your missed period.

If you are only 2 days late then I would give it a couple more days before taking a test. That way you may save yourself some money since you might just be doing that, running late. If in a couple of days you still haven't started then you should take one. Make sure you use the first pee of the morning and follow the directions included with the test. Doing that will ensure you get the most accurate reading. Good Luck, I hope the test shows what you want to see.

If your period is pretty much always regular you can test now, or wait until you are about a week late , so that you will give your body more chance to concentrate the hcg hormone that is detected on the pt, also you can use one of the more sensitive ones, those that says that you can test 4 days before a missed period!! GOOD LUCK AND LET US KNOW!! I got my positive when i was only 2 days late!!

You CAN take a test now, but waiting a few more days will either give you a more accurate result, since the hCG will have more time to build up, or it could save you some money when your "you know what" shows up.
And since at least SOME of us here are adults, and others at least pretend to be, you CAN say "period".

I would wait a few days - However if your just going to worry spend the 10 bucks and take the test

I usually tested even a day or two before I was late. Usually I already "knew" deep down that I was pregnant. If you want to know just do it any hpt would be accurate now!

Tests now are so accurate that you can take them before your period is due. Get down the chemist and get a test to put your mind at rest. Symptoms can be self induced if you think about them enough.

try waiting a few more days. I know it is hard to wait, but the longer you wait, the better chance you will have that the test is accurate.

i would wait about a week because alot of things could come into play you may be stressed if the week passes than i would get tested at a doctors office than youll be sure if you are n ot

If you can be patient i would wait a couple more days. Ive wasted money, just to have the period the next day.
