I think she's afraid to criticize him because she may be forced to pick him as her running mate after a primary win, so she can't very well trash the man and then say he's vice presidential material... still...

A better question would by "Why can't Hillary give a straight answer?" The answer to that would be BECAUSE SHE DOESN'T HAVE ANY ANSWERS, AN NEITHER DO ANY OF THE OTHER DEMOCRATS. All they have is criticisms but no solutions to anything.

I'm not a big Hilary fan, but she spoke beautifully this morning on the Today show.
And- she won't badmouth Obama for a lot of good reasons.
1. Maybe she is impressed by him.
2. It won't make her look good to put down anyone else.
3. They're in the same party (teammates)
4. Yup. Someday they might be on the same ticket together- and old videos have a way of cropping up years in the future.
Seems like the smart thing to do for all kinds of reasons.
