Close To Me from the cd The Head On The Door OR Lullaby on the cd Distintegration
There are about 2 different versions of both songs the originals and the Remixes from the cd mixed up.
He says "I never thought this day would end I never thought this night would ever be this close to me" not "come close to me" in the song "Close To Me"
In "Lullaby" he says "quietly he laughs and shaking his head creeps
closer now closer to the foot of the bed"
Most likely it's "Close To Me" by Robert has an accent that could cut steel so he's sometimes hard to understand especially during some of his older interviews when he starts looking in different directions and sticks his fingers in his mouth.
