notecards are great, because you can tuck those in your pocket & whip them out whenever.

also, if you've already looked over the material, try just writing down some key words or phrases. then just try to remember everything you know. (this is good if you don't want people to know you're studying).

if you just don't have a lot of time, your best bet is to highlight your book or notes as you read along (out loud is best!)... that way you get the visual/hands on/auditory learning.

and finally, study or read over your notes right before you sleep.. you'll remember the material better when you wake up!

Set aside a time for study. Don't go thinking you can study while you're doing other things. You will do better to set aside a good amount of time and use that time to read, underline and work.

No radio or TV as this uses partof your subconscious and takes away your ability to remember. No friends, no conversations. You'll be surprised at how much you can do in only one hour.

use flashcards, or retake your notes. The more time you review the material the better you'll be. Also review old tests if ur taking a final/ midterm. It's really hard to not repeat a multiple choice question! GOOD LUCK!

Notecards are a great invention. You can write down important points that you need to study on them. I never would have made it through school without my piles of notecards.
