Saddam's job was very difficult, yet all americans did was criticize him. Why do so many americans think they could do a better job than Saddam? Why are you taking this question seriously?

Saddam was a ruthless cold hearted dictator. A 1 year old who has any decency could run that country better.

Second, your question isn't taken seriously.

Are you really serious? Saddam got his people's support because of the huge change in buildings, roads, infrastructure etc. that he did- while his sons were kidnapping and raping and killing schoolgirls for fun. Putting the Olympic atheletes in Boxes like coffins when they didn't win and torturing thousands by their and his name along with his death squads and hencemen. He was intelligent, self serving and insane- so was Hitler. As a people, I doubt very much that Americans want Saddams job- far from it- most of us want the people in Iraq to get a backbone and demand peace and order and let us leave ASAP- its not an issue of running a government or country, but rather (at this point-rehashing the past is stupid) to settle an area of the world and keep Iran and Syria and Terrist extremists from taking over the vacumn that is left which is what will happen if we just leave-If your question is for fun- then its as dumb as one on white supremecy or Nazism- bad taste and useless---

That is a very loaded question. For one thing Saddam tortured and killed many innocent people , that is why he was so sought after, not because we didn't like the way he ran his country. Also, us Americans aren't trying to run that country, we are trying to pave the way so it can be run by one of their own as a democracy not a dictatorship.

What makes you think I'm taking it seriously?

Maybe you've had a little bit too much of Stewart and Colbert?

Also, for the record, I didn't criticize Saddam, I condemned him.

It's the alcohol and meth combo the RedsStaters like to start the day with.

Saddam did have a tough job. If he had only paid back the $80billion he borrowed from the Skull&Bones none of this would have happened.

But like so many Americans he had more debt than he could handle.

Go big Red Go

Opinions are like assholes. Everybody has one. It's easy to sit in front of a computer away from the pressure and stress and make uninformed remarks. But 99% of these same people would cave the first time an important decision had to be made.

I agree, but he did it with threats and murder. Sounds like a human rights thing. It's just another shot for the superior nations to try and bring peace to the rest of the planet. But unfortunately, that will never happen, because there will always be extremists and poverty. One country will always do something that will turn out to be a disadvantage to another country. It's human nature to destroy ourselves, and that's exactly what has always happened.
