Well here is the thing, awhile ago me and my friend Lori were talkin about a friend of mine and she said she didn't like her. Then another girl who was listening to our conversation told the other friend, Alex, that I hated her and that I was talking trash about her when I wasn't. Well for along time I didn't know any of that. So I was joking with Alex calling her names and things, but just joking. Then she told me. So I confronted the other girl who told her and yelled at her. Now my friend Alex wont talk to me and Lori wants to beat her up. Is it myfault??

Your friend got mad because she is probably the one that told your other friend that you were talking trash. She basically lied to get attention..time for a new set of friends.

No one should beat up anyone. Instead of yelling at the girl, you should have asked her & handled it from there. Yelling at her probably made you look more ridiculous than anything the other girl did. Don't get me wrong, if she did go back & tell, you had every right to be angry. But it just added fuel to an already ugly fire. Talk to Alex & ask her what upset her. Then explain to her why you did what you did. She probably thinks that if you went off on that girl, you would do the same to her if you got mad.

Well, I think Lori and the girl that told Alex are the most to blame. Sounds like a big mess to me. Why does Alex feel bad about talking to you about it? It seems the girl that told Alex is a big troublemaker and I would not include her in my circle of friends.

No it's not your fault that girl shouldn't have gone back to your friend and ran her mouth because she didn't know the whole story. as for alex not talking to you and lori wanting to beat her up, that's not either because you can't control what they think. i know it sounds dumb but if you can try to help them and get things fixed if not, try not to make it worst. hope i helped
