The windows wizard flashes on screen for a nano-second then disappears. Device works fine in husband's PC but won't show anywhere on mine. I had a similar problem with my phone until Sony gave me step by step details to fix it - and also my camera no longer talks to my computer...they worked fine on the old PC...

Do you have information on the flash card from the previous PC, if so get a new card and see if that works. You may not be able to mix the old with the new. You may have a defective or damaged card.

Has the usb drivers been installed they should be on the motherboard disk, also check that there are no explantion marks on any of your hardware in device manager, right click my computer icon, go to properties, then click the hardware tab at the top, then click the device manager botton. If any hardware isn't working properly it will have a yellow explantion mark next to it.
