The points aren't worth J@(K5I-I1T you can't spend them, exchange them, buy a guy with them, whatever, so WHAT is the big deal over best question, is it the 10 points or the satisfaction of having the best answer. It's a lot like respect, you have got to EARN it.

no you just have to answer people's questions the best you can
here are some good ways:
-Being first, or early helps
-Giving the most complete answer
-Showing the source documenting the answer
-Leaving the asker satisfied that you honored their question with a well-thought-out response.
